Lansing Community College Gannon Parking Ramp is a 5-story parking structure designed to meet the parking needs of LCC’s growing faculty and student population. With the expanding footprint of LCC and downtown Lansing social district as a whole, this parking structure presents a unique challenge of a tight downtown construction site where storage and lay down areas came at a premium. Centennial Electric was able to complete off site prefabrication to minimize the needs of onsite storage while meeting the tight deadlines of this fast pace construction project.
Centennial Electric’s scope of work included a new power distribution system, lighting and lighting controls, fire alarm, access controls, installation of cutting-edge electrical vehicle chargers, facilitating the transition towards cleaner transportation options, park assist system enhancing convenience and safety by guiding drivers to available parking spaces, reducing congestion and facilitating smoother traffic flow within the ramp.
