Project Brief/Features:
The LSD Hill Center Solar Field project marks a major achievement in the Lansing School District’s commitment to sustainability and energy innovation. As a part of an $8 million investment in renewable infrastructure, the project features a 5.8-megawatt ground-mounted solar array designed to power the HVAC and lighting systems for the school. This forward-thinking initiative emphasizes the district’s long-term vision for reducing its carbon footprint while enhancing energy efficiency across district buildings.
This project also represents a milestone for Centennial, as it was our first large-scale solar installation completed from start to finish. The labor-intensive effort resulted in a powerful renewable energy system that will supply substantial power to LSD Technical High School.
